6111 - 10/15, 17 2024 Public Meeting Scheduled by Illinois Department of Transportation For Improvement of Perrysville Rd from Bowman Ave to Texas Ave, Bowman Ave from Perrysville Rd to north of Texas Ave, and Texas Ave from Perrysville Rd to Bart St The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will host a public meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 4-6 p.m. at Danville Community Church of God, 535 S. Bowman Avenue, Danville, IL 61832 for the purpose of discussing the improvements to Perrysville Road, which will include the removal of the structure carrying Perrysville Road over I-74 and replacement of the structure carrying Bowman Avenue over Texas Road with an at-grade roundabout. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend the meeting. The meeting will be conducted on an informal basis with project displays and other information available for viewing. IDOT representatives will also be available to explain the project, answer individual questions, and record comments offered by those in attendance. Attendance from potentially affected property owners is encouraged. Preliminary reports, including an engineering analysis with drawings, maps, and aerial photography, will be available for inspection and viewing during the entire time the IDOT representatives are present. This same material is available for review and inspection at the District 5 office address below. The location of the meeting is accessible to persons with disabilities.
